Precautions

Contraindicated for pets that are pregnant, nursing, hypotensive, diabetic, on blood thinners or diuretics, without Vet supervision. Possibly contraindicated for pets with allergies to eggplant, a night shade plant. Strongly anti-microbial. Suggested to add a pet specific Probiotic to help maintain native gut flora and electrolyte balance. Your pet may drink more water, need more frequent bathroom breaks. For large stones or risk of blockage, it may require doubling the dose for 7-10 days. Speak with your vet if your pets conditional needs have been deemed an emergency. May potentiate (strengthen) insulin, diabetic, diuretic, hypertensive, beta-blocker and other heart medications (including chronotropic (decreases heart rate), inotropic (weakens muscular contractions) drugs) and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (elevated blood pressure and congestive heart failure). Monitor blood sugar levels.

Use for 30 days, then take a 5-7 day break IF you are NOT using a pet friendly probiotic. Probiotics help keep your pet’s gut balanced while the stone breaking process is underway.
